Home Made Turbo?

Home Made Turbo?
I am a newbie to this site and forum, I heard this site through a friend b/c I decided be on the way to turbo charge my teg 97 gsr. I wanted to know if the members of this site really do make turbos and I could get one installed. I don't want to buy the aftermarket turbos b/c for they are really expensive! As of right now I have catback exhaust and intake, I know I have to do engine mods like pistons, camshafts, camgears, etc...!

Re:Home Made Turbo?
Your stock GSR will be fine for boost, 300whp should be no problem with the right setup. I suggest read through the forums for a week or two and learn. That's the only way your going to get the knowledge to build your own kit.

Read the FAQ's and other stuff to get started. Search for any info you need from there, and then once you get yourself pretty much figured out then start asking questions. Everything you need to know is available on this fourm, you just need to put a little effort into finding it.

Re:Home Made Turbo?
I make turbos from beer bottles. Some people say I drink too much, but there is a reason for it. I melt the glass down and shape the molten glass into custom turbos. I made a glass manifold once, but the weight of the turbo broke it.
