perhaps it's lazyness or failure of the search function, but Anyone got a good way other than melting it to remove old trailing arm bushings?
Got the energy suspension ones that require you to use the old flange thats molded into it. what a pain in the ass.
I tried to use a normal puller but doesnt seem to work worth a ----.
anyone came up with anything creative to do this with a little less bullshit involved?

I cut mine out with an air saw and took a razor blade to the center mount piece. You can only get so much off that way though, so a torch is pretty much your only option.

And don't take this wrong, but I want your GF ;D Only wish I could get mine to do something other than bitch about the time I work on mine :P

a press is your best friend when it comes to bushings i did my W H O L E car in three hour at my shop tell you what fork the g/f over for the weekend and i will do the bushing for you

20 ton press ftw. Not sure I've seen the ones that you reuse the center piece though. Mine came wiht a new center piece.

the energy susp ones all you do is cut out the old bushing, leaving the metal "drum" in the trailing arm, remove the bar from old bushing and place in new one. and press the setup in the trailing arm. if you get creatice you dont need a press to get the new one in, just dont damage the new bushing.


i believe its Prothane that has the ones including the bar. since there both eurathane the diff in price made up my mind which to get
