so now that there are several of us boosted whos down to go to carlsbad for some racing? i realy need to get my car timed before i blow this motor. i also want a rematch with that v12! whos down to go and when? id like to go in three weeks.....

And why is this including boosted cars only? No love for the stock hf? I think we should all put in $10 and have a "best reaction time" pot so that the non boosted cars (stock hf's 8))can race too.

Baha, well. I just took it for a ride and.....I'm going to need some time. :( She's not going to like a big ass turbo if she can't suck air in directly through the throttle body. :-\ I'm saying at least 6 weeks until the beast is good to go.

the next available date at california speedway is april 10 which is a saturday. after that theirs no drags until may.cost 20 bux and racing is 4-11.thats a lil over 2 weeks. hows that to everyone?
carlsbad is every saturday and its 25 bux.they say gates open at 11am and they race 4to 6hours later.

palmdale lacr is every friday and wednesday and only 15bux. racing 5-10

carlsbad...dunno for sure but a friend of mine says its the best place fontana is hard you will get only two or three runs in compared to 10+ at carlsbad plus is closer to sea level

Palmdales elevation sucks major cooo-loh and fontana is ..well its fontana... I think carlsbad sounds about right...ill go even though im not boosted.

so far so good...one of the hoses busted on me today while i was out and about..took anout 20 minutes to fix...other than that o had to get new axles and do all the inspecting to the motor. i pulled the a/c and got new tires and a set of 89 tef wheels from the junkyard...so its coming along...thanks to murdoc for hooking a beaner up!

oh and i still need an SI tranny for my 4 door...2nd gear is fucked up to the max!!!!

april 17th ehh...what about june 12th at famoso raceway for battle of the imports. not to many people show up now so the track is like open all day haha. and so i dont have to drive three hours. ---- that would be perfect so the norcal guys and so cal guys can meet up in the middle. or ---- we could have the cal v4 meet there.

Where is famoso at? Either way I look at it I'm driving like 3.5 hours so quit your bitching. :P

It's not looking hopeful for my hatch. I tore the front suspension apart to replace bushings and found a handful of more problems. If I would have seen all this ---- I would have never drove it back here. :-X One of the front brake lines has a gash in it. :o

There is a chance that I'll at least have my motor in by this time, but it will still just be a y8 till we get the turbo rollin. I don't know, I think it would be kinda fun to race a stock hf. Does anyone have a nitrous kit laying around? 8)

Well where ever it is Im there ;D.I found out what the problem was.The wastegate flaper was open a little.I adjusted it tightly shut and now that bitch rocks(at 5psi :P)!All the bugs are oficially squashed 8)Still running the Fields V-SAFC though :-\.

famoso is in central cali. like 2 1/2 hours away from orange county. heck doc 3.5 is too long for me to be in my car hahaha. i hate civic seats their uncomfortable. ever since i wrecked with my cousin my body just hasnt been the same anymore. have u ever flipped going 115??..let me tell u that ---- hurts the next day mang. walked away from it though but the next day was a biatch. got pics of the car if u guys want to see that mess. hahaha
