HMT Ontario Meet PICs (56k have fun!)
 

I really didn't expect to be the first one to get at this but here they are.
Overall, HMT Ontario was a good day. 1 donwpipe was made, 1 intercooler fit up and piped, 1 car at least idling on AEM EMS. Look for some video footage and such from other attendee's. I nearly blew a Head gasket on the way home, 45 min traffic jam, and i was hitting near 220degrees. But the ZC is still together. Hopefully everyone got home alright. Greg, did you blow it with running no wastegate line?

Aaron's clean setup again. We think his oil return line was backing up, A 12" pacth of oil was left under his car by the CAT when he took it off. He t3/t4 was 3/4 filled with oil in th turbine housing. Good thing he didn't really run it becauce the seals look new still.

the center section is actually functional. the two red pots light up with the brake lights. i just want to make sure no one rear ends me because they didn't see my brake lights. the fuel cell is back there!

you are more than welcome to come and kick me in the nuts, just be prepared to break your foot on my steel jock. :P

sealed up good now, that damn spot is the EXACT place where the exhaust hanger was too. had to cut it all out and re-weld. I found that hole when i was inspecting my car post-theivery of my stereo.

black guy = greg = 9tray turbo. it was his car that got the HMT upgraded IC and DP. It's doing really weird ---- at idle now though. Like up to 1500rpm then dies to 200rpm, then jumps back up. the entire time the a/f gauge (i know, i know not accurate) jumps from full rich to full lean and back. but, it ran good.

BTW greg. I can smell your car when you were even far ahead of me haha.

Hahaha, Great pics *Twho Thumbs Up* We all had a great time, the guys that showed up were all awesome to chill with, definetly a great experience and I'm looking forward to set another meet up maybe late August and if not then next year for sure.

Yes I did get dirty, and Yes That white shirt is still white, I just threw it in to the hamper to clean out the sweat.

Aaron, Thanks for having us over and helping out alot on all the fab work on Greg's car, it was definetly a very productive day, too bad it went by so fast and we couldnt work on your car.

Now a bit about my Bondo Buggy/Vice grip setup...The #4 cyl wenta while ago and the engine burned oil, so I had to unplug the injector and put a spare injector in its place to get rid of the code, so basically I have suzuki Vitara pistons with 8.5:1 CR running on 3 cylinders...---- no wonder I wasnt catching up, the cars top speed is 140-150KPH, and acceleration suck big time.

I when through the entire test hardware and found that pin 31 was not working, traced it back to the DIP Swicthes. I'm going to double check tomorrow and soldier some new ones so I can get this thing to Stillnoturbo.

Meet was great guys, I really enjoyed it. It was nice meeting everyone, helping out, seeing Aaron work, and that new downpipe came out beautiful. Thanks Josh and everyone who helped me for showing me how to remove my coilpacks and use the timing light. I got my timing synced on the standalone and was happy about that.

Martin please PM all of us with the list of names and screennames you put together.

Can't wait to do it again. Hopefully Aaron will be able to start working on my stuff soon and we can get my setup finished.

For all who don't know, Legend4life is planning a tt setup on a V6 Legend. How he's gonna do it in those engine bays???? who knows

Ya we got to start think about the next meet. As I said, I will ask my dad if we can use his shop, but it is a good drive for most guys!

YaYaYa, The damn Americans weren't happy with The Pop Aaron Provided. The had to go to the store a get me to pay for SODA with my funny colOURED money. EH. Oh ya and they had a hard time understanding tat 60KPH into didn't mean 60MPH!!!

Eh, the big numbers are easier to read ;)

Aarons POP was fine I had a couple of cans during the day, it was just a little too fruity to drink with pizza though.

It's going to be a few days on the vid. I had to get a firewire card and cable from newegg today. The serial connector that came with the cam is as slow as Martin's car on 3 cyls..
