Thanks, I was wondering why nobody suggested this yet. You could get the name brand ramen at wholesalers (Sam's, Costco) for probably even cheaper.

Find some local cats.

You gotta have onion in your tuna. Sometimes a squirt of mustard and dill weed.

Ramen, easy mac, those frozen burritos are like 40c each.

Re: HMT Food

Ramen Noodles FTW! I love that ----.

I'm about to make a nice low budget sandwich in a few minutes, turkey on toasted italian bread/ ranch. Soooo good.

BTW, my cheap lunches usually consist of me driving to the local store and buying their $2 hoagies (sub sandwiches) that they make fresh everyday. Buy two, and its still ~$4.30, buy a $0.30 pop can of RC cola and you're good to go for under $5, and you're getting a hell of a lot more than you would at any drive thru.

Asheville's great, you can get three free meals a day standing in lines at various soup kitchens. Dirty workboots and clothes only seal the deal so nobody calls you out.

I'm not kidding, if I've got an hour to kill downtown I can walk five blocks any direction and get fed for free.
