I'll work on the pics in a second here.

I've been extremely busy at work today. Sucks ***.

Here we go.

Some pics of the install, I started cleaning around the garage at around 100 am. Pulled the car out a little and starter working on the injectors. Swapped the 450's before anyone got here.
Here's the workbench

Here's a pic of the car again. Notice the badass MexiGold paint job on the valve cover.

Big thanks to sakpase for the wideband (even though in the end it wasn't used thanks to my dumbass :1)

PhilStubbs was the first one their, with his girl. She helped out a lot, and eventually became the camera girl. (thanks)
Well the biggest problem was that I just forgot about actually getting a chip to burn. But we decided to start messing around with things and worrying about that later.

Here's another pic of the valve cover, and the turbo in place.

So we started cutting pipes to weld the downpipe. While doing this we figured out we needed a few things. This is also when all the others showed up.
Big props to tekno9998 for bringing the tig, but what sucked was that my 220 connection had a different plug. So we used his gas tank on PhilStubbs welder. Flux core madness, but incredibly good looking. I have seen tons worst.

By this time everyone was there, so we decided to take a lunck break, it is around 20pm.
Our quest was to find a chip, buy a few misc things we needed, and then coming back to finish things up.

We unfortunately left the camera in the car for this. It would have been nice to take pics of these people.

First stop was radio shack. We had called them, they told us they had chips. We go over there. As soon as the word CAR was mentioned it was like they gave up. They suggested we go to Autozone or Advance auto. Even after repeated explanations on how it was just a chip, not a car part, we left empty handed. Here SDRAWKCAB and his friend tried to find an electronics shop in the area using their GPS.

No luck, they where either closed or also lost on what we needed.

So we decided to try the other Radio Shack in the mall. So here we are, a pack of 8-9 people walking into the store. I'm sure they got excited thinking we where going to buy something. No luck. At this point I am like ---- it. Let's just finish everything. PhilStubbs can always burn me a basemap to get the car running and we can fine tune it later.

So we decide to get that lunch.

Sbarro's Pizza never tasted better. It was about 30pm. I had woken up at 7am, and this was my breakfast and lunch.

Next stop was the ALMIGHTY HOME DEPOT.

We did take a camera here. We got some extra bolts, some cutting discs and some mad tyte Home Depot couplings.
Here we are trying to find some bolts

So then we went to Advanced Auto for some oil and more pipes.....
Here we found this awesome ride....

Notice the WRX hood scoop, the hood mounted gauges, the decals, the wing, the rims, the grill, the bumper. This was awesome. Between this thing and SDRAWKCAB blasting the HMT rap on the silverado, it made the dissapointment of the chip go away.

and of course we can see a car like this and not do a JDM mad tyte pose. Courtesy of tekno9998

By now all the employees at the Advance where looking at us funny, apparently one of them was the owner of this THING.

So back to the house to finish the downpipe. This thing came out sexier than what I thought. We were able to go around the radiator problem and fit it perfectly to line with the exhaust system. Thanks to PhilStubbs skills.....Not bad for flux core.....

and of course here is the Downpipe girth pic, courtesy again of tekno9998

Here's how you drill your oil pan for an oil return line.

1) First find a spot between two mounting bolts on the pan.
2) Mark the pan, this is important here, with a Sharpie, nothing else works, as high as posible but with enough room for the fitting.
3) Drill a pilot hole for the next step
4) Grab an old Shifter from any 88-2000 civic. Insert in said hole. Bang the hell out of it to expand the hole while creating a great roll/seal for the fitting. (Make sure you have to friends holding the pan. Or use the floor, see pic)

5) If the hole is not big enough, like in our case, use a flared socket held by an extension for extra hole widening.(sorry no pics of said process)
6) Once hole is big enough, screw in fitting. If you did this right it will bolt in just like if it belonged there. Use JB weld around it for extra protection.(again no pics, it was late, and we where tired)

That was about it, we finished the downpipe, bolted it on. Finish all the oil lines, bolted the pan on. etc etc.

Only 3 things left to do. Wire resistor box (thanks SDRAWKCAB for hooking it up), this will take about 5 minutes. Finish one bend on the charge pipes, cold side. And the Chip. ECU is already socketed, so this will take 2 minutes to pop open the cover and finishing it up.
Thanks for the ones that showed up. It was fun. Finally a Florida meet worth calling a meet.

I have some stickers to "commemorate" the event. Will post pics later. PM me if you want one.
That is all.
Thanks again
David
