Possibly an M&P .40 instead.

Nice hk, those sog knives are junk though. I'd take a walmart gerber over a sog any day.

I wasn't gonna post again until I do an intro thread....but it's about guns so it's ------- important!

Put me down for at the very least another AK. Maybe something in 5.45...if not, a nice stamped Arsenal in 7.62 to go with my SLR. And if there's any money left over, maybe another SKS and some ammo.

So what are the requirements of this check?

I think if I understand it correctly from that article, You must earn less than $75,000/ea or $150,000/couple to qualify.

They didn't list a minimum level that I could see. If you paid no federal income tax but made over $3,000 you get $300.

There also could be a $300 check for each dependent child a parent has.

BoosTedZSix 01-28-2008 02:21 PM

Re: hmt call to arms!!!

I think inorder to get it you have to file your income tax so they know how much to distribute to people. And we're supposed to get it around june july. They gave out something similar but 300 a few years back.

ya, they were only like a 100-200 depending on what you want. one of the reasons i was considering it is they ammo was hella lot cheaper then 9mm-45's besides 22 ammo everything is expensive and i want something bigger then a 22.
the tokarev is 200$ and takes 7.62x25 you can pick that ammo up for 140$ for 1224, witch is about twice as good as any other ammo for a hand gun besides a 22. but eh the whole reason i havent got the gun is the same reason you stated. older and probibly something i wont keep in the long run. i like that last gun buk posted up haha. if we really do get this money, ill be looking at something fun like that.

Re: hmt call to arms!!!

oh just curious who else goes threw 100+ rounds when they go shooting? i almost always shoot at least 100 rounds off every time i go out. when i had my 22 rifle i would usually go threw those 550 round box's from wal mart in a day with my buddy sometimes more. we usually will involve some hiking/walking with our shooting. and theres a few pits where people drop crap off to shoot up.
