If his CRX is a bloated Si, I think youve got a pretty good chance.
B16 with stock internals is good till around 12psi safely, assuming hes on a T3 or your basic t3/04e.
I remember when my friends CRX ZC w/ 18g on 14psi was able to pull away from by T3 B16 CRX @10psi.
Tires should play a big role too. I remember he was on ---- tires and I was on Azenis. From a stop Id get out about 1-1.5 cars, and I think he couldnt get past me till around top of 3rd, 80-85ish.

I had 91 hatch b16, 12 psi no prob. It was quick but I don't' know if it could take much more. but remember 12psi from a t25 is much different from 12psi t3/t4. cfm makes the power. bong just break his keg then race him
