Re:heres what i have so far.
Well my guess is that you bought a copper SCE head gasket from summit (just a guess) and want to install it on your car for boost.. thats great..
But, in order for a copper head gasket to seal, you have to O-ring the block, or head (or even both) then requires some machine work that only some machine shops can even do. They cut a slight grove in the sleeve or head, and fit it with some custom steel O-ring's (that are hand made).
This ranges from 200-500 bucks.
I had this done to my built ZC.

oh, o.k...i did purchase it from summit, but never did they mention the o-ringing.....just a stupid question?what if it doesnt get o-ringed and i just slap the copper head gasket on there?

Re:heres what i have so far.
it will simply not seal up at all, and compression would be blowing into the water jacket, in seconds. Their is no seal ring around the copper gasket like normal gaskets.
Yes, they forget to mention that to people when they buy the SCE head gaskets.
You can also do a stepped deck, but that is more money.
