The balancing really isn't the limiting factor for how hight it can rev. Once you hit a certain piston acceleration it gets expensive to get things to hold together. Also, preventing valve float is a big issue. |

An I6 is smoother because it has no dead time between power pulses. It is not what I would consider the best balanced engine. 90 degree V8 engines are probably one of the better balanced piston engines. Rotaries are the best balanced engine. ;D |

An I6 IS balanced.....100%. There are a few engines that have perfectly balanced primary and secondary forces. Off the top of my head i know the I6, flat 6, V12 and Flat 12 are balanced. There are a few more im sure. A 4 cylinders secondary forces make it unbalanced and it needs two balance shafts to make it a balanced system. A V8 is more balanced than a 4 cylinder but not as good as an inline 6. |

Yep. Thats pretty much what i said in my first post.
Also, they said its a narrow bore so i assume the stroke is pretty long. |
