Re:help on springs and shocks
are you talking about the bushings? if you are don't they come with the shocks? mine did but if not then it would be a good idea but not a neccesity

Re:help on springs and shocks
I think he means the bump stops?
Price them out.. if they're cheap you might as well. |
Re:help on springs and shocks
reuse everything until u get a complete bushings kit

Re:help on springs and shocks
If you mean the bumpstops you need them, you can cut them down a little but I dont think you should just ditch them. as for the bushing on the very top, the tokicos should have came with them, if not you should reuse your old ones untill you get some from honda or go polyurathane.
PS. Ive been running the tokico blues with eibock sportlines for two years and there a sweet ride, not bouncy like a lot of lowering springs out there. good choice. |
Re:help on springs and shocks
yes use the bump stops, they're cheap if you want to replace them. but you can resuse the original ones. if your car is lowered atleast 2" or more. just cut out one of the ridges in the bump stops.

Re:help on springs and shocks
should i worry about speed bumps? there is some that i hafe to go over. also.. when going into a gas station some are kinda steep. is there and angle to go over them so i wont drag bottum.
|
Re:help on springs and shocks
speed bumps suck,i wouldnt hit them hard.you could bottom out your shock and blow the piston.and always watch for steep drives you will bottom out in a lowered car.i have to watch all the time.go uo in a angle instesd of straight up and it wont drag to bad if any at all.
