I am having an issue with my BOV. It is a Greddy Type-S. I know the BOV is not the problem because I can see it close and open. When driving the car and hitting boost then releasing the shift to the next gear I can hear compressor surge and no release from the blow off valve. I checked the vaccuum lines and they have good suction. The gauge reads perfect vaccuum pressure at idle as well. I am out of ideas any help or advice would be greatly aprreciated. Please Post Back.

First do you have it hooked up right? Second, is it a knock off? If so, open it up and remove the heavier spring and leave the light one in it. The adjust the center stud in a bit.

 

It is the real deal. I already have adjusted the spring and still the same problem.

 

I know it is hooked up right and also this the secong blow off vlave I have tried and it still is havng the problem. It sucks it was running perfect a week ago.

 

where are you pulling vaccuum from?

 

I am pulling vaccuum from the intake manifold.
