does the screwdriver not just rip right throgh both side and when you crank on it it rips the oil filter?

Re: help. oil filter not coming off.
stab a large screw driver through it and turn it or worst comes to worst.. spray the contact point with something that will eat the rubber 0-ring so it spins off easily

"Ghetto HMT Oil filter wrench" writeup: Supplies--- Get access to 1 leather belt. I'm talking the kind your mom used to threaten to get from your father's dresser when you were a little ----.
1 piece of 36 grit or 80 grit sandpaper. That cheap toilet paper you get for like 28 cents a roll will do just as well since I swear it's the same stuff :P Assembling your new homemadeturbo oil filter Ghetto riggdiculous wrench--- Cut your sandpaper into strips about 2.5-3" wide and about 8-10" long depending on your oil filter size. Wrap that stuck ass oil filter in the sandpaper (grit side down dummy >:() and tighten the belt around the oil filter as tight as you can. Now give it a tug in the "lefty loosy" position and watch that sum bitch spin free. Enjoy. Compliments of Tranceminister. Quality illustrations, diagrams, blueprints and pictures can be posted if needed. |

Re: help. oil filter not coming off.
use the scre driver as a last resort, becasue half the time it just cuts the filter into pieces. get oil filter pliers or a type of filter wrench that tightens as you turn it.
