I know one of the trips the guys on bonnieville club do is to take the piece of rubber seal that goes around the back of the hood and remove it. They said that it helps to lower the temps (the rubber seal righ up at the wipers).

This is cheap (no money involved) and this is homemadeturbo.. right? come on..

I don't have a comment on the hoods, I like the oem style..
