c'mon now, don't group everyone into that category. I'm looking at both cbr's and r6's and have never stepped foot in an abercrombie store nor would I be dumb enough to ride around in a tshirt.

Re: Help me choose a bike...

if you have motorcross experience......... you are way ahead of most street riders already

even the ones that have taken the MSF joke

by far the very best way to learn how to ride a motorcycle and all the best street riders I know

had many miles on two wheels before ever getting on a street bike

it was interesting to watch Bubba Shobert get off a flat track bike and absolutely kick ass in GP racing

get what you like..... I recommend the GSXR750 or better......... the 1000

the 1000 is more than most any mortal man can ever use

but so it the 750

Re: Help me choose a bike...

^^^ couldnt agree more. MANY racers, the haydens i know know for sure, have been quoted saying that the key to being fast on the street is first being fast on the dirt. Nothing builds riding skills more than ripping a 450 through the woods hell bent, not only do you not risk any1 else, things arent ----- like the factory or state motorcycle classes
