man, ive never ever ever had problems getting a head off. valve covers thats a different story!

the first time i took the valve covers off my five ohhhh i had to use a rubber mallet and wack the ---- out of those fuckers

Yup yup... non rubber gasket VCs have owned me a few times. I've dented the ---- out of some Ford units with a rubber mallet :X

You just rocked back and forth in one of the inner runners? or were you moving around from port to port
