what i want to know is why every damn car that wasn't the center of that chase scene was either an intrigue or an alero... there has to be some philosophical meaning to it.. maybe oldsmobile is the creator of the matrix. maybe even though neo was the last "one" and they've stopped making him, they'll still honor his warranty...

either way, i thought it was okay.. i think you can try too hard with special effects though..

Some of the effects were a little elaborate, yes :(
There were a couple Caddillacs in the back ground to from what I remember. Wasn't it an Escalade milli vanilli was driving (lol)?

if I remember correctly GM donated all the cars for that scene.. which was filmed on a highway built specifically for that movie.. at the mere cost of 22 million bucks.
