I saw the movie yesterday, going to see it again tommorow.
It is just ------- spectacular. I never, ever considered the twists in the plot that they took. The action is decent, though I'd say it was definently more intense in the first movie.

I did get a little lost on some of the ---- that was going down in the movie... if you've seen maybe we can formulate the reality of it?

Why was it that the older software took form as a 'ghost'? I got really confused on this, I am not sure if she explained it or not?
The other thing that threw me off was about this being the sixth 'One'? I had to get up and piss when Neo met the architecht and I know that alot of key information was passed through that whole scene. All I caught was that he was a successor in a line of other 'Ones' and that Zion was another way of human control? But why was it? Did he explain?

Oh well, can't wait till November to see Revolutions... Reloaded really leaves you in a state of needing more.

If you haven't seen it, get your ass out its worth the $8 easily.

he was the 6th one because there were 5 previous versions of the matrix. that movie kicked serious ass. and now i NEED to see the next one. the scene with all the 'smiths' ------- rocked. i wanna know what the hell is gonna go on in the next one. that guy that was gonna try to kill him is still alive, so i guess we'll see. dude i cannot IMAGINE where its gonna go from here. i cant wait...

the movie was about "choice" for the matrix to be stable the person entering the matrix is required to have chosen to be in the matrix (but it was explained that 99.5% of the people choose the matrix before they are even aware that they are choosing it). That is how zion is formed, the .5 percent of the people that rejected the matrix formed zion as a result of the failure of human control. They Chose to not be in the matrix. Human control was the matrix itself.

The 5 past matrix's are imperfections and everytime they recreate the matrix they get it a little better.

As for the Ghost part, it was explained that everytime a program was intergrated into the matrix if it was "flawed" or buggy it would result in one of the things she mentioned(IE. Ghost, vampires, aliens...etc) And that deletion motivates them to survive.

My only confusing point is at the end with neo + the sentinals .... why is that? i don't wanna spoil anymore than i already have for those curious ones lol ;)

Smith + Neo. Smith got some of Neo's Matrix powers and Neo got some of Smith's Computer powers. That's my guess anyway ;D

I dont know... guess it was like neo in the first one. remember how he was found... with all those questions and stuff... I guess thats how they choose not to be part of it.

Questioning reality. and then they find you and set you free...

I didnt like the ending.... it felt like getting head and the girl just gets up and walks away leaving you hanging there wondering what the hell just happend.

lol.. yea the endin was a bit ------ wierd... did u guys stick around for the matrix 3 trailer? he has to kill all the agent smiths!! so the oracle said. but he was bad ass when he got pissed and flew to save trinitys hot ass... like a ------ hurricane!! i think hes powers are gonna be 50x better on the 3rd one.. :)

i saw the movie yesterday, it was alright.

there are a lot of things that don't match up if you think about it. neo can manipulate the matrix however he wants, so why does he even fight anything? and he can bring trinity back to life, so what does it matter if anyone died or if anything happends to them? neo can just change it. and i thought that whatever happend in the matrix happend in the "real world" ie in their ship. so trinity dies in the matrix, from a bullet to the heart, she dies in the "real world" but in the matrix she is brought back to life, but the damage is already done in the "real world" and you can't turn back time. UNLESS the "real world" is an older version of the matrix, that is why she is alive again, and that is why neo can stop the sentinals.

anyways the movie contridicts itself lots of times, but anyways it was worth $8.00 I GUESS. even though i could hardly care about any movies, this is the first movie i've seen since van wilder.

the movie just kicked ass straight out. I love what they did with the story it got me thinking about it for a couple of days now. The smith and neo fight was just bad ass he fucked them up bad. As for the matrix 3 revolution tralior i stook around and saw it ,neo is going to one bad ass mutha.

Okay, seen it three times now. I understand what is going on.

Random you must keep in mind Neo did not know what he was capable of... I guess the Wachowski brothers think that love is the emotion of humans that conquer all. It was loving her that made him choose not to save Zion, it was loving her that brought her back to life (and indeed himself in the first matrix).

What I understood this time, is that to the machines... the matrix is perfect... but a human mind is flawed and different. If the brain rejects the matrix (even subconciously) it can cause the whole system to go hay wire. Thus they created the "Oracle" and this whole prophecy idea, while embedding extra code into a random human (Neo) that makes his will stronger then other humans.

Really, if you watch it again there is a lot of foreshadowing. The discussion of the french guy, saying...
"Choice is only an illusion, created by those who are in control" is rather straight to the point. Neo did not choose to be the one, the machines gave him the idea that he 'chose' the path via the oracle.

Now to go back to Random Strike talking about the bullet in the heart - this is a tricky scene to try and explain. But my fanatacism for this movie can probably go over it - the blood that 'bleeds' in the real world from artificial damage is just a directors way of telling the audience they're feeling the pain. In reality, if the matrix were true and your brain were only conceiving the pain, and you took a bullet in the heart you would only feel like there was a bullet (because of the impulses your brain was recieving) in reality there would be no hole in your body but a human brain cannot ignore the reality of that pain.

Neo on the other hand, is semi-AI. He carries code in his brain of how the matrix works, thus how he is able to do what he can do. Think of it in terms of that the matrix is really constructed to meet the prophecy and not that he is really special. He is just there so that they can keep zion from being a threat.

This time around though, Neo and Agent Smith crossed paths. Which is most likely why Neo had control over the sentinels (since the Agents were directly wired to them) or that Neo is in fact, a machine himself, or they are in a subsidiary matrix.

Oh well hope that clears things up maybe.

yea.. .there was a trailer i just seen it again tonight... but didnt stay for the 3rd trailer.. credits are like 10 mins long and ----... almost pissed my pants waitin the firs time.. god damn!! :)

Seen it.

The action is good, but the end did not satisfy me... actually it does not have an end and that pissed me off a bit.

Also, a lot of actions in the movie contradict with each other.

But i guess it was worth my 6 Euro and 50 cents.

Based on the trailer for Revolutions, it has something to do wih Neo & Smith. The most logical guess is that Neo's brain is somewhat 'plugged' in while Agent Smith is being 'unplugged'.
From the previwe they have a face off of smith vs. neo and Neo says something retarded like, "It ends here tonight."
and then it shows all the sentinels coming after the ships and them unloading guns at them.

I watched it the monday before it came out god it is great to manage a theater. I loved it till the last 2 seconds TO Be Continued............... But we only have to wait till november I will get to see 2fast2furious on the 2nd I like the fast and the furious even though it is a NO2 commercial

Actually I don't think the Oracle told neo he would have to fight smith... she said if he did not go through the door that Zion would fall.
Remember she's a bad guy.
The whole thing with candy? I think that was just symbolic of how the machines had control. I mean point back to the conversation with the old counsel men he had kept asking what is control? thats my point.

lol sorry, I take this movie way to seriously... mostly because it was a philosophical opening for me (the original matrix). Perhaps some sort of enlightened dawn on my intellect I should say...
We examined the hell out of it in my highschool humanities course (passed the violence and ----). Compared it to passed philosophical thoughts (Ie. Plato's "Cave").

Sometimes a good movie is the most modern philosophy we have :)

I am starting to believe that Neo is in fact, a machine...and that all the 'ones' are infact themselves machines... only Neo had fallen in love, an emotion most machines prolly never experience.

Watch the Animatrix episodes, and read some of the commentary, it might make sense why I'm coming from that point of view now.
