Re: Have: cbr600 engine, what should I put it in?
Hit up the college kids for a retired Mini-Baja chassis. They must build a new one after 3 competitions. With all the requirements on them, they are fairly safe.

Re: Have: cbr600 engine, what should I put it in?
i would want to something similar to what the people did in the video gixxercart on youtube that looked awesome but probably on the expensive side.

put it into a first gen rx7. they are light like a first gen crx.
|
Re: Have: cbr600 engine, what should I put it in?
Put it in a large, padded box. Then put a shipping label on it addressed to me. You won't believe the amazing things that will accomplish!

Re: Have: cbr600 engine, what should I put it in?
I can get a yugo GV for $400. I was just doing some research though and see that they are 1850lbs :-[
Too heavy, thats enough weight that by the time me and my dumbass friends are in it we'll be burning up the clutch. A fiat 500 is 1100, and a 600 is 1290, thats a lot better. Theres a mint fiat 600 in oregeon for 3400... More than I want to spend but I am tempted to get a nice little fiat because they are sweet looking, super light, and most importantly, already rear engine. IF I got a half decent car to start with instead of a piece of ---- I'd enjoy driving it more, and could keep it at the shop to show customers, a piece of ---- I can't leave around the shop, people who bring in turbo 911's and MB s600's don't want to see rusted out yugos in the shop. |

Re: Have: cbr600 engine, what should I put it in?
what about a awd subaru justy?
|
Re: Have: cbr600 engine, what should I put it in?
I turbo'd a Justy 6 years back. It did not suck.
|
Re: Have: cbr600 engine, what should I put it in?
i also like the justy idea. a VW beetle, just, fored festiva or whatever, or geo metro would work out too. i would try the beetle though. http://www.freefoto.com/images/21/08...riumph_web.jpg |

Re: Have: cbr600 engine, what should I put it in?
Build a gokart and use honda suspension stuff to make it cheap. Brakes, spindles, some sort of spring, solid rear axle, and tube chassis.
