when i hacked it, i hacked into a server i think. i dont know what the ---- i was doing, but it had my neighbors last name, and there ip addy. im sure i coulda hacked into it furthur, but i wouldnt be able to figure that out. hell i hacked wha i did hack by accident. :P

the security on wireless routers is turned off by default.
most people that add wireless to their home just plug it in and add the login information for their isp.

Pretty much. If you're going to be getting a card, I'd recommend an Orinoco Gold 802.11a/b/g card. It has a jack for an external antenna so you can use it for mobile Access Point detection, which is the next logical step anyway.

Yeah, most people def. don't know how to run encrypted. I got a wi-fi card 2 weeks ago and was running off my neighbors I.P. But since i'm a nice guy, i told them about it and showed them how to encrypt it. Prolly shouldn't have, free internet and all, but my connection's faster than their's anyway :P
