Hahaha-Tech

When I tried logging into HT earlier today the Zeroforum software had been replaced, and ---- was glitchy/didn't work.

My $0.02 is Dustin Adler won his lawsuit against IB/Mike, or at least IB is ditching Zeroforum due to it.

Re: Hahaha-Tech

Dustin and Mike were best friends. They loved Hondas, they loved computers, they went into business together with Mike as the titular boss (moneybags) but Dustin was the brains (not that Mike wasn't bright in his own ways/areas). On top of their normal schtick, they created this armpit of the internet forum called Hahaha-Tech where people could drop mad ti-ite JDM bodykit tips, and it was based off of Dustin's brainchild software Zeroforum.

Well things went the way they do between friends when there is too much rice, not enough oc and zcs, and Dustin's getting it up the pooper on the paychecks. Dustin comes into work one day to find himself fired and locked out from several thousand dollars worth of possessions - the turbo cart I donated 350cc injectors to, as well as Hahaha-Tech itself. Dustin was obviously somewhat disheartened being ejected from the bosom of bodykit heaven, made some other site no one liked the interface for I forget what it was called, but more or less let things lie for the greater good of the community as Hahaha-Tech was a gift to fifteen year old McDonald's employees everywhere and therefore more important than any one man's ego.

Then Mike sold Hahaha-Tech to Internet Brands for $1.9 million dollars so the place could be defiled by crappy marketing tactics whereby fly-by-night bodykit emporiums slinging inferior fiberglass black widow knock-offs could - for $800/month - drop ship broken kits (if they even shipped anything) and have forum moderators (all coincidentally named Jorge, or at least had "nsx" in their screenname) delete any warnings of such behavior. Also, the mods with "nsx" in their usernames were all gay lovers with zex_uncool, and let him rip off anyone he wanted to in exchange for a piece of second rate not-hotrex-derived case of the herp infested zex-ass. Not cool. Not what Dustin dreamed off. ----, at least kick him the .9 million, right?

The not-for-profit bodykit community forum was sold for profit. It's author objected.
