I remember a thread of yours about some shitty chinaman cable you got in the mail that was all fucked up and everyone said to ditch it, but you said you would fix it. Is this the same specimen by chance?

I'm too lazy to search for the thread.

no, this isn't. that cable was repaired and sold 4mos ago. (worked for me and the buyer) i slopped the case up with abs glue and sold it. this is a different cable

i somehow feel, that the fact that evoscan cables only work with evoscan and pc's, that he shorted the ------- thing out with his mac and romraider and is trying to blame me for it. but i can't load the evoscan site to get the info

it's just a usb on the other end correct? I know jack and ---- about mac but I have a hard time believing a usb device shorted out by hooking to a mac.

now plugging in the other end to something other than the intended product sure, aren't some of the pinouts of the obd2 plug reserved for manufacture specific whatever the ---- they want?

the cable is buggy and the drivers used by the said program are what causes issues within the cable. he didn't even plug the cable in for drivers first, he just plugged it in and tried to ---- with his car.

and dan, we used my genuine tactrix cable.
