Guy on ebay
Last month a guy had an S2000 that was suppose to be heavily modified and stuff so I asked him some questions about it. All I asked him if I remember right is if he if he'd had the motor sleeved and what he set his ring gap at.
Dear daryldurnil, The head has been bored and stroked ported and polished so no there are no sleeves. The specs are 87.5mm x 12.5:1 cr as stock is 87mm x 11.8:1 cr. Sleeves are primarily needed in fi applications. There are no sleeves in a stock f20 either way. Piston rings are only seperate from the piston when installed. Once ran they are fused to the piston to make optimal compression depending on your break in reg. This is why you cant beat on a brand new car once you make purchase. Im not sure what you mean by piston ring gap. Thanks. Patrick. - grazy920 Did this answer your question? If not, let the seller know. |

Re: Guy on ebay
iI highly doubt that he ever touched his car. He is one who dropped it off at the shop, said I have $10k, spend it wisely and build it how you would want to.

Re: Guy on ebay
Damn, I would of asked him for more info cause that ---- is just funny as hell. You could make a book out of that and real car people would bust a gut on every page.
