Guy on ebay
Last month a guy had an S2000 that was suppose to be heavily modified and stuff so I asked him some questions about it. All I asked him if I remember right is if he if he'd had the motor sleeved and what he set his ring gap at.
Dear daryldurnil, The head has been bored and stroked ported and polished so no there are no sleeves. The specs are 87.5mm x 12.5:1 cr as stock is 87mm x 11.8:1 cr. Sleeves are primarily needed in fi applications. There are no sleeves in a stock f20 either way. Piston rings are only seperate from the piston when installed. Once ran they are fused to the piston to make optimal compression depending on your break in reg. This is why you cant beat on a brand new car once you make purchase. Im not sure what you mean by piston ring gap. Thanks. Patrick. - grazy920 Did this answer your question? If not, let the seller know. |

Re: Guy on ebay
iI highly doubt that he ever touched his car. He is one who dropped it off at the shop, said I have $10k, spend it wisely and build it how you would want to.

Re: Guy on ebay
Damn, I would of asked him for more info cause that ---- is just funny as hell. You could make a book out of that and real car people would bust a gut on every page.

What's sad is he's talking as if he actually knows what he's talking about and acts like YOU are the retard. I don't see how these people learn this ---- and go around trying to ------ the knowledge. Is it just a fucked up learning curve that causes it? Some kind of ADHD? ???

Maybe they will buy it on credit and when they discover its fucked up, the ---- will come back on the scammin SOB.
I got fucked on a motor over eBay, should have used a credit card to pay for it. lesson learned. supposed to be good and fresh, oil on everything was black as fresh asphalt, crank was fucked up, etc. Shipped it DHL, Told them it was 30lbs, looked like a ------- ball of ceran wrap when I got it. Wish I lived closer, would have knocked on the fucker's door with a 12g cocked when he opened it. |
Re: Guy on ebay
Whats worse is that the O.P. is spending hours online and not working on his car thats sitting in my shop, with around 5g's invested and he's wanting to give up. But wanting to sell a chassis thats not mobile and a engine bay thats not ready for 4g's. DARLY GET ON IT AND ENJOY WHAT YOU GOT, not giving up in the last few hundred bills thats left to get it prime
