wow. I don't really get why they would do that unless they have the money to get another motor. They did say it had a blown rotor but still, I would have spun the tires until it blew. At least they caught the fire and put it out... lol.

haha the exhaust was so hot it was glowing and then it ------- caught on fire at the end thats crazy

I can't say it was very smart, but definately something we all would like to do someday. (If this was honda-tech I could put a thumbs up or something) :P

The funny thing is I think he forgot to lock the radiator cap down. I think it would have gone a lot longer if it didnt overheat. I was just waiting for the coolent to catch on fire, that would have been some funny ---- to see that thing go up in front of the house and next to his other car. Good stuff

Had the radiator cap been on, it would have revved at 9 grand for a REALLY long time. :) NA rotaries are almost impossible to kill! seriously.. :( turbos are a different story .. lol ... ------- unreliable crap! >:( hehee

yeah i heard something similar from this rx7 owner. he was telling me that with a triple rotary motor from japan(forgot the engine code, sorry), your ---- will rev to 14k no problem. i was like wtf... thought he was full of ----. but then i heard that from another rx7 owner, and figured its probably true. those motors are crazy, plus they are only 1.2 liters i think.

that was a 13b.. ie 1.3L the 3 rotors are 20B's.... 3 rotors dont play..... easily 400HP outta a 20B
