I really wanted to see the damn thing running but it just wasn't going to happen.... too bad.
And it wasn't really a burn out cause the back end of the car was in the dirt and it slid almost into the garage...scary. But I'm glad we could help ...

Ohh and if anyone wants to donate a complete 88-91 mpfi wiring harness to matt please let him know.

woah, i don't even want to know what you guys were using that wrench for so what was wrong with teh car besides the wiring harness gone wrong? who did the wiring? why not just redo the mpfi wiring correctly instead of replacing the harness? it would only take an hour or two and cost nothing

you have no idea kevin. better left at that.
home electrical wire should not be used on a automobile in any way shape or form.

the unghetto way to do it right will be to get a new harness. it will be every last dime of it.

But the wrench was actually used to hold the crank pulley while we removed the crank pulley bolt...
You gotta work with what you got.....

And believe me when I say he's better off getting another harness......just trust me on this... and for the record, I had nothing to do with the wiring.

me either.
he said he drove the car, so we assumed it was good, all ghetto, but when the car is turned off, and the key out of the ign, and the fuel pump is still on, and all of the dash lights are lit up, something isnt correct.

just unpin the ghetto mpfi wiring, repin new quality wiring, voila! the whole harness couldn't have been affected from shitty mpfi wiring. you still have to wire vtec, could have just done it all at once.
