Got sprayed with cap stun (pepper spray)
 

Some of you know and some may not but, i'm in a police academy. We were at the shooting range for the past 2 weeks and we got sprayed with cap stun today. Holy ------ ----, that stuff hurts so bad. I will never ever spray anyone with that ----. I couldn't open my eyes for 45 min and it still hurt for a hour and a half. Has anyone else ever been pepper sprayed ? They told us to use milk and ---- to cool it down but it didn't do jack ----. If anyone does get sprayed, rinse out your eyes with water and hold them open, don't rinse more than once and just wait it out.

I hate all that chemical ----. We use some really nasty OC/CS mixture. It really fucks me up.
Been tasered yet? Thats always fun...
I got gassed 2 weeks ago. That really sucked balls..... :(

We have to be sprayed with pepper spray, part of the training, atleast at this academy, so we know how bad it is. Guys that were in the Marines, said that CS gas is weak compared to the cap stun. Only have to get hit with a taser if we want to qualify on it. I'm debating.

I dont know what gas they used but it sucked.
For the record. Ill take a taser hit any day ofer capstun or gas. Once its off, its over...

Don't be such a ----- and say you won't spray anyone, because you probably will. That's the exact reason they use it on you first, so you feel like that and don't abuse the privilege.

I've been peper sprayed several times and had a couple cns grenades go off in front of me in downtown Seattle. The next day my face and neck looked like I had a 3rd degree sunburn. It is the worst Kind of suck. Tazers hurt like ---- and you lose control of your motor functions, but when it's over, it's over.

If you get the chance to get spayed or tazed, pass.

CNS is what it said on the side of the canisters that they fired at us at the Marti Gras riots. They also senin a helicopter with crop duster attached and spayed first ave to Harbor Veiw. it blew goats.

I got CS Gased 5 times in Basic. God it ------ sucked. I hate that ---- with a passion. I will never wish that ---- upon anyone.

The guy that sprayed us said that CN gas isn't that bad, the stuff the that they spray us with had a 10 % concentrate and what we carrry is only a 5.5% concentrate. If you didn't get it in the face in the liquid form within 6 feet, than you didn't get a fraction of the effect.

Hah, they must be gassing the boys with third rate ---- to psycho brainwash them into thinking they are stronger than they are; there is a reason CS gas is illegal and capsicum based ---- is OTC. I had a friend who was one of the boys who broke down and set up the tactical nukes (artillery based small bombs) for the Marines, and he was told the usual lethal does of radiation for a civilian was xxx mrads but his personal lethal dose was 40% more because he was a superior physical specimen. Ri-ight. :S

I have a couple riot canisters of pre-ban CS, look like tall redbulls or skinny tall boys, it knocks the socks off of cap spray. I emptied a whole canister into a Rustang once when I was broken down in an intersection and the three guys in the car decided ------- with me was like shooting fish in a barrel. I told them to ---- off, they tried to hit me as they pulled over, and I just emptied the fucker. It was the most awesome thing; I was aiming at the big guy in the back because the pass was a midget, and I figured I could take the driver since he was my size, but within the first half second of spraying the driver was freaking out and gas/braking/no control over the vehicle because he couldn't decide if he should drive off or exit the vehicle. I felt bad mid-spray because there was a girl in the backseat with the big guy, but I figured it was an application of the theory of right association, and maybe she wouldn't let trash fill her full of their filthy cracker semen in the future if stuff like that happened to her.

I wa sthinking the same thing. Besides shooting someone huts even more. And sometimes people die :P. So does that meen that you wont shoot someone eather? It sound like you are a little soft to be a cop. Good luck!

my buddies cousin is a police officer and he gave us some police issue pepper spray and we got the good idea to let him spray me for fun (ya right, fun) so i let him spray me. my eyes were open and it hit me like a ton of bricks. it hurt for a total of like 3 hrs. that ---- sucks!

you were at the WTO riot too? my cousin spent the night in the makeshift jail that night...missed her bus home to hippy town in Eugene. Grenade went off in front of my friends at the WSU riots. He stank for a couple days

Yeah that stuff sucks.

Same chemical that makes chiles hot. N-Vanillyl-8-methyl-6-(E)-noneamide (Capsaicin)

My brother has his degree in law enforcement. They had the taser, cap spray, and all that. He said the spray to the eyes was the worst.

I hear that the taser hurts like a bastard, but it only lasts for 5 seconds at most, than your done and no ill effects after that. Not like the cap stun where you feel it for a hour after, and the next time you shower it reactivates a little.....I can't quit this job now, i'm too far in and went through too much ----, I'm not too happy with the academy, but i'm going to deal.
