I was up visiting some friends in new Hampshire I'm from newyork I got a ticket for 118 in a 65. Any body have any ideas.

I would give you some possibly helpful advice.

However, 115 in a 65 is just plain stupid and if something would have happened, the punishment would have been much worse. Hope you enjoy the fine and I hope the fines are high.

I've been to the tuner world, it was full of idiots and people that think they're awesome by wearing rainbow colored clothing and speeding at ridiculous speeds.

Do I speed? Sometimes, to keep up with traffic on the interstate or move slightly faster. Do I got almost twice the speed limit? No.

i dont know about those state laws (n.h2n.y.) but i think it would be hard to dispute the ticket (not like you were doing 68 in a 65zone) so id say save the trip/drive and just mail in the fine (you are lucky that all you got was a ticket, i had my car impounded for doing about 25mph over the limit)

Usually you give them a number you can call and most minor things can be paid out of court. Being that every state I know would consider that reckless driving, I don't doubt you'll have to go to court.

this isnt a fine, hes being charged with misdemeanor or more, not a little ticket. they will be charging him with at least wreakless driving and be trying to take his license away. that sucks, get a good lawyer because with that high of a speed they got a good case against you and the judge probilby wont be wanting to be lieniant.

i guarantee he will get off with little or no jail time. prisons and jails are way too overcrowded as it is with real criminals to be sending everybody who speeds ( however fast he was going) more that a week or two in jail. now you can expect a big ass fine and probably some court mandated community service.

Get a lawyer licensed to practice in the state of New Hampshire, your looking at a minimum of a suspended license and a huge fine, then to get it reinstated you need to go through driver education and a whole bunch of other ----, they will probably also try to get you for reckless driving especially if you were racing someone, don't just show up and expect to get off with a fine.

I had a ticket in Georgia from 2005, have had my license reinstated a few times since then, but last time they said I had to go pay that ticket. I wouldn't be surprised if its the same there. Best bet, show up to court, dressed clean, and be polite and apologetic. You'll still get raped but not as hard.

Wow, a lot of hate. Dude I got tagged at 100 on my way out to the hamptons.
Pulled the fuse for the speedo out and shorted it. Stuck it back in and brought it to the dealer. Got a service reciept saying that the speed was not displayed. They dropped it to blowing a stop sign.

not that I'm advocating anyting illegal but why the hell didn't you run if you were on a bike, in co that ticket is an automatic trip to jail and loss of you license and the cops here aren't allowed to pursue a bike unless its a felony stop... dont know about u'r state but if you lived in denver you wouldn't be driving for the next 3-6 months, yeah hope u got a good job cause them fines are gonna get ya

Running may not be the answer, if the cop gets your plate he can get you for reckless driving, eluding, and whatever else you do, all the cop has to do it go to the magistrate and obtain warrants for the violations he witnessed. If he turns on his lights and it's obvious that you run, thats enough for eluding, disregard signal by law enforcement, speeding, reckless driving, and i'm sure there would be a few more violations in there. Does not pay to run be a man and take your punishment for your stupidity.
