ROFL at a 600hp 2jz being more reliable than a 600hp LS1 comment.

Its kinda ironic, if you wanna get REALLY TECHNICAL, LS1/LT1's are VERY efficient for being such a primative design.

they generate GOBS of torque at low RPM, which helps let you keep the rpms down when puttering around town, AND helps you launch like a bat out of hell faster than any import.

And then my next question for you is "Why isn't my truck powered by a 4 cylinder?" Twit.

in all realitty, OHC has been around just as long as OHV. so they are both very very old.

there is NOTHING new about fuel injection, there is NOTHING new about overhead cams, there is NOTHING new about variable valve timing, variable cam timing, VTEC, etc...

basically the "new" thing in car engines these days is either the materials or "hybrids"

even multipal displacement is not new... it was done in the 80s by buick.

nothing is more technical or state of the art in any import engine compared to a domestic one.

its a fact that smaller compressors (gasoline engines are essentially air compressors) are more efficient than large ones. always has been, always will be.

LOL thats funny ---- right there

WE ALL HAVE USED THAT AT ONE TIME OF THE OTHER. Oh wait with "side note"
With all the V8hp and V8 Torque when your not wide open throttle do you still get the 30 miles per gallon?

HONDA'S DO Even with hp400+
