2003 Chevy Silverado SS AWD ext. cab 50k miles excellent shape.. picked it up for 17k :) Fun truck, not really fast but torquey and fun.

I use company trucks/gas during the work week, but the ss is suppose to get 17mpg on the highway but it requires at least 91 octane (4.19/gallon here) :S i just pud around town in it anyway, and i'll occasionally take the wife out to dinner in it or something.

Dunno if burnout vids will come or not, i need to take care of this thing.

They wont burn the tires they are awd. :1 With nos they will though, my buddies has a 150 shot, it'll run low 13's

Hg are solid, the intake is weak, its made of plastic. He was trying to light them up and had a lean missfire due to nos, blew the intake up. lucky it was on warrenty. he took that ---- off then the dealership fixed it. They got it back together took it for a test drive an it seized up... :1 So he ended up paying an extra 500$ for the upgraded motor, ( samething the ZO6 has in it) It runs good now, and he does'nt try to launch it from a dig.

Props to the OP, I am a ford man, but chevy trucks get my vote.

Its also the BEST time to buy a truck if you want/need one, prices are low as dirt. and if you are like me and live 4 miles or less from work gas doesn't affect you too much, especially if you already own an eco box like I do.

On a serious note, i would rock the ---- out of an old ass Z24. Dood a few blocks over has one with a smoothed out grill no bowtie, and some nice 17's or 16's. Nothing with a small sidewall really and some exhaust and man that thing is TITs! just a sweet little daily.

my sister has an 06 SS...trying to get her to buy a supercharger...they're nice. She lives in L.A. and someone stole her truck in 2 mins. they popped the cylinder out of the driver's side door, then used a smart key disengage alarm w/valet swictch and startied up and drove away. po po's found it 4 days later 6 miles away with seats missing, power lock switches missing, and front bumper missing. i think a body shop down there saw it, stole it, used the parts for an insurance claim vehicle that had gone through the same thing, then left it out on the street. they didn't even steal her $2200 ninja rims, just parts they needed... damn :8 :8 :8's

Yes, I was serious :-P

Not sure about their power potential, but we had an old v6 z24 beater and it was a pretty fun ride for the POS it was, and lasted well over 250k miles before my dad got rid of it.

Thanks, i've been scoping out the 03-06 SS truck for a while now, the prices have just been too high 23k+ this one was listed at 19.5, and i jewed him down to 17. I'm definatley keeping it stock for now, because i'm going to regulate myself with the payments first. Later down the road i'd like a nice bed liner, fiberglass cover, and then I might get an intake for it. Id hate to ------ it up too much, I like it the way it is.

I daily drive my tundra have to for work. Gas is killing me and the truck is paid for. If I was a rich man I would buy up all the big trucks people want to bail on and just let them chill. Gas will go back down at election time it always does and sell everyone's truck back to them. Seems like people are taking up to 10k losses on their big trucks to get a smaller car, retarded when you really do the math



One of the used car places here I know is doing that they have a lot full of trucks with no stickers on them. Smart dudes.

now is the time to buy a V8.... in the years to come it may not be as easy to keep a big truck or muscle car on the road money and gas wise... If anyone has ever dreamed of lifted trucks and cars that do 12's stock then nows the time.

2000-2004 focus's are GARBAGE cars. Terrible motors, Terrible transmissions, and ugly as sin

2005-2007 they are identical mechanically to a base model Mazda3 (I own an 07) and got a decent face-lift.

And considering it gets 30mpg no matter how/where I drive it, and its a decent size compared to my little EG hatch, I'm happy with it.
