got my new Z,mmm red
ima post pics in a second after i take some, but first i have a problem, here it is.
well i got a new Z today, and i went and did a few donuts, the car has 130k on it, red ttz very very clean, i will post pics later, and after a few donuts the car started making a weird noise from behind, felt like it was coming from the rear end. it would happen when i got on it above 4k, and it felt like it would accelerate, then slow down then accelerate while im still at the same throttle percentage. it doesnt feel like driveshaft inbalance as it happened only after i swung some donuts. if its time for a new rear end i think im goin to go with a NA one for the low gearing, tomorrow im going to check everything from the tires to the rear end to the driveshaft, but my guess is either the rear end is low on fluid or it got moved out of spec. lemme know what you guys think thanks, and yeah i know i shouldnt have been swinging donuts.

this is my 5th car in a little less than 2 years, i started out with
93 black si hatch, turbo'd it blew the headgasket, stripped it sold it
92 black si hatch, turbo'd built engine, never really got it running right,
92 white dx hatchback, all stock daily driver, this BITCH WONT PASS SMOG
90 grey 300zx twin turbo, full exhaust, intake, DR's, boost controller @ 14psi, ran a 12.7
91 red 300zx twin turbo, greddy catback, all stock, the new Z
and in storage i have a 1962 nova with a semi built 327, i'll bring that baby out when the hatchbacks are gone, stupid hondas :P

Re: got my new Z,mmm red
I give it a week before it breaks or someone trashes it. :P
A guy has three civics, and instead of getting them to run right, he just buys new cars. Sounds like you need to finish what you started before you keep giving up and buying new cars. Honda owns joo.

Re: got my new Z,mmm red
nice car but ehhh to red. other than that looks good. are we gonna get some engine/interior shots of this one?
oh and go get the rear diff fluid flushed, don't fill it up just flush it and see if that helps. I'm guessing it never been changed in the 130k mile life of the car.
I flushed mine and it doesn't need to ever be changed, but it's little money for a little extra security.
