NEW PICS AT BOTTOM......

well, i'm a member on carolinahondas.com and i found some flat black gsr rims with brand new nitto 450's on them for 300, they were about 4 hrs. away from me and it just so happened my boy was going up there (yesterday) to look in to a school, so i had him pick them up for me, i was a litte skeptical because they were spray painted, but i figured if i didn't like them i could just sell them and make a couple bucks, well, he just dropped them off at my work and they look nice as hell! the tires are all about 90% except for one, it's about 75-80%. here's a pic of them, but i'll update tomorrow with a pic of them on my car.

and here's my car with the rims i have now, 17" asa em9's with kumho 712's. these rims are for sale for 350 obo, all the tires are about 80% except for one is about 50%.

They look good and for $300 they were cheap, you can easily get more for them if you decide to sell them off later.

yeah, that's my plans, i want some black or gunmetal 15's, but didn't have the loot to drop on new ones right now, so these will hold me over until then and i can easily get my money back for them. i held one up to my car and it looks awesome! i'm interested to see if i feel and acceleration/braking differences as opposed to those 17's. i'll have pics tomorrow of them on my car ;D

good switch off. i hate 17's for a few reasons. because they are heavy and tires are expensive. and ride quality sucks. those wheels look good. im getting some today. well im trading my sinko's for em. and the guy is giving me some money. i bought my tenzo sinko's for 200 bucks brand new

this is true, but, the bigger the rim, the smaller series tire you have to run to prevent rubbing and what not. 40 series suck! the 15's have 50 series, i would like a 55 series, but 50 isn't bad.

my car follows the road also with those lil cracks. i hate that ---- because it fucken jerks the steering wheel. im thinking its my suspension. but i dont know. i prefer 50 series tires rather than 55 because the 55s tend to be big. i like the design of the falken ziex 512's. it looks dope

I like the Integra rims too. My buddy has some on his Teg and I want them for my 4G hatchie when he gets different wheels, but his woman want them for her Rex. Anybody got a good method for disposing of a body? ;) Marcus, if your reading this....cough 'em up!!

i just picked up some 96gsr/SE wheels this week too... i picked them up for dirt cheap, the wheels had like 3layers of different color paint, so i bead blasted them today... i'll probably paint them black or maybe silver/grey.

stealth, the whole point of getting these rims was because i wanted smaller wheels, not just a different color, these are just to hold me over until i can buy what i want.

doc, i would have loved some si rims, but they're a million dollars these days :P


here's the pics of the new rims on the car, they handle so much better, i also had my agx's set on the stiffest setting and wasn't aware, so i turned them down a bit and it feels like i have a different car now, 50 series owns 40 series, period!!!..........

just drove to work with them this morning, so i'm not sure about cornering, but as far as regular ride quality it's about 200% better, but it might also have a lot to do with the fact that i adjusted my shocks. i just never liked anything bigger than a 16" rim, i almost didn't buy the car because those 17's were on there, but i jewed the guy down.....

I would imagine the rubber on the 50 series makes the ride a bit better compared to the 40 series. I give it two thumbs up now. I like it. That car was a ricers dream when you first got it. Now it's looking pretty good. I bet if you post the new pictures up on Clubsi they won't flame you like they did before. ;)

yeah, it was a little riced out, but i couldnt beat the price and actually got the price down because of all the 'aftermarket' parts that i was 'going to have to replace with factory parts'. the main thing that sold me on it was the agx's, aluminum lca's, skunk2 camber kit, and the fact that i knew it would be a nice ride once i ate the rice. yeah, i was thinking about updating my post on clubsi, thanks for remembering :P ;)

Don't lie you know than really really down inside you got the car because of the 17's and the 12"long overhang from the bumper muffler.



J/K The car look a thousand times better now. I don't think it was that those 17's where big, just ugly in my opinion. Looks better now.

:)The funny thing is that I sold 2 sets of my blades a month ago. But i don't have a camera that's why i never posted it on the site.I have racing hart evo's 17" but want to sell them. And get 16" rims I'm looking for 205/40 16's. I'll also trade, I'll try an get some pictures up someday.
