got my new rims today!! *pic* *UPDATED, INSTALLED!*
 

NEW PICS AT BOTTOM......

well, i'm a member on carolinahondas.com and i found some flat black gsr rims with brand new nitto 450's on them for 300, they were about 4 hrs. away from me and it just so happened my boy was going up there (yesterday) to look in to a school, so i had him pick them up for me, i was a litte skeptical because they were spray painted, but i figured if i didn't like them i could just sell them and make a couple bucks, well, he just dropped them off at my work and they look nice as hell! the tires are all about 90% except for one, it's about 75-80%. here's a pic of them, but i'll update tomorrow with a pic of them on my car.

and here's my car with the rims i have now, 17" asa em9's with kumho 712's. these rims are for sale for 350 obo, all the tires are about 80% except for one is about 50%.

They look good and for $300 they were cheap, you can easily get more for them if you decide to sell them off later.

yeah, that's my plans, i want some black or gunmetal 15's, but didn't have the loot to drop on new ones right now, so these will hold me over until then and i can easily get my money back for them. i held one up to my car and it looks awesome! i'm interested to see if i feel and acceleration/braking differences as opposed to those 17's. i'll have pics tomorrow of them on my car ;D

good switch off. i hate 17's for a few reasons. because they are heavy and tires are expensive. and ride quality sucks. those wheels look good. im getting some today. well im trading my sinko's for em. and the guy is giving me some money. i bought my tenzo sinko's for 200 bucks brand new

Its not the size of the rim but the size of the tire that fucks with ride quality.

this is true, but, the bigger the rim, the smaller series tire you have to run to prevent rubbing and what not. 40 series suck! the 15's have 50 series, i would like a 55 series, but 50 isn't bad.
