The video app works great. Kinda simple and I wish it would keep your position in the video when you go to another app (seems to reset to beginning instead), but works smooth.
I used software called "videora ipod" (it's free) to convert a 720p rip of the new hulk movie to the appropriate resolution. Converted it in less than an hour (thanks quad core 3.4ghz intel). It runs silky smooth and the color is great, looks like you're watching HD on your phone and helps to pass time at work.

The browser doesn't support embedded flash, and no mobile browser does just yet. There are some in beta that can but none publicly available.
Fortunately, Android is open source, so give it time.

If you go to youtube in the browser, it won't work, for the very same reason redtube and youporn don't -- browser doesn't support embedded flash.
You have to use the standalone youtube application.
