got my car back!! pics of setup inside
guys i finished my turbo project today. take a look at my setup:
d14z2 1.4iS 99 Civic t3 .42 .48 - 8psi log type manifold - tig welded crappy charge pipes type s knockoff BOV custom downpipe 2" all the way with magnex muffler Tunertoys 450cc SAFC 2 Stealthmode oil line firewall kit and restrictor boost, oil temp, oil pressure gauges FMIC and catchcan on the way... the car was finished today and it was really fun to drive until a police took my car away because of my muffler.. its now sitting in a police garage and i have to pay $$$ to take it back.. i could enjoy it for only 2 hours and my car is taken away.. i feel like im the most unlucky person in the world |

damn dude.. since when do cops just take your car for having an aftermarket exhaust? that sounds a little harsh.

yeah i live in Turkiye and this is the way it is only in the city i live..
there used to be alot of street racers where i was driving my car when the police took my car.. so in that area if you have a aftermarket exhaust they can takethe car away.. the police was so ignorant that he actually wrote down abart egzost in the reason for taking car in the form he was filling.. abarth is a tuning brand for fiats by the way.. |

well at least now that you know that they would take your car for a modified exhaust... I hope that you learn to atleast make it look like stock.... Wisconsin (eau claire) is also another state that doesnt care about what you have on your car. |

the only thing i can do from now on is to not go that part of the city.. all of this bullshit is because of a fag, killed 2 people while street racing in that street and now the police will take your car in that area becuase you have a aftermarket exhaust, window tint, rims, open air filter etc... thinking you are street racer |

I guess none of ya'll lives in California huh? it is the GAYEST place in the world, when I was stationed there I use to get tickets for lowered car, modified exhaust, non original engine, factory tinted windows, and so on. the only reason I did not get my car impounded is because I am from Miami and I am in the Army, but I used to be in court every week fighting these tickets. the Law sucks hotrex sick dick

after all the post whoring...
yesterday was a unlucky day for mebut i got my car back today. had to take the muffler off and now i have no muffler and the police let me go.. i just have a pipe in the place of my muffler now and it looks like stock :D still have some problems with car though.. i need to get it wideband and egt tuned.. the car bogs a little in the 2nd and 3rd gear when i floor it.. trying to figure out the problem now.. thanks to everyones support in a bad day.. |

yeh , so lemme ask again. do you have a fuel pump? stock fuel pump is gonna have trouble feeding 450's with boost. its probably why your car is bogging when your floooring it (giving it lots of gas) your motor is asking for more fuel that its being supplied with during boost.

don is disagree, ive never upgraded my fuel pump, not even with 550s and flowing way more fuel than he will ever need to.
he shoudnt be having a problem, sounds like he needs to gap his plugs and ---- around withthe afc more. i cant believe that even 1 person still uses the hack, with the availability of diy standalone equipment., |

a high pressure pump is only needed imo if you are funning some junk fmu or rising rate regulator that shoots pressure up to god knows what.
i have never had a problem with running out of fuel, i was in the 10's afr wise in my teg on 12 psi which was a tad over 300hp. im gonna try and make 400whp on my stock pump as well. |

I went with my 255lph just as a precautionary measure. It was under $90. worth the peace of mind.

i figured out that the problem was running too rich.. i think my car doesnt have 240cc injectors like other 90ps 1.4 liter hondas because now i have a similar setting to those who have d16y7 which has 190cc injectors.. still going to regap the plugs though

Looks cool, a nice simple setup that works.
Now what's up with the Duct Tape......... The other thing I would change is painting the charge pipes, like flat black. Then learn more about chipping your ECU and go that route for better control and performance. I like the steering wheel, different, no airbags I guess, right?
