heard of the cadallac sixteen? it has a v16 motor w/ 1000hp and 1000tq.. you think we will ever see that on the street? no way. especially w/ the price of gas!

 

It's not just a concept, europe has it, one of the last issues of eurotuner showed 10 cars to hot for the us and the RSi was one of them, the also had like estimated values and to bring it here the car would have to cost like $50,000 or something like that, too much for the american consumers, who would buy it.

19 mpg? That seems a little much for 16 cylinders....... thats 16 injectors... they have to be at least 240 cc/min unless the thing has like 1/1000th inch chamber volume...
16 * 240 cc = 3840 cc / min. Anyways, lets convert this to something we can understand. 1 cc = .000264 gallons [us liquid].

So ... 3840 * .000264 = 1.014421 gallons per minute.

Thus 1.014416 gallons of gasoline per minute is consumed when the injectors are opened (of course this would be different in reality because each injector isnt going to pulse every revolution).

Explain how that can get 19 mpg
