its the same technology as used on the new lambo. As for diesels i raced my friends heavy duty one and he has some serious lauching power on that bitch , luckily nethier of us won since it was a short distance but long haul i know he would rape my fiero thats why im waiting til i get turboed.Hell ,probly still get raped lol

Where did you....Why did you....Who did you.....Nevermind.....A good friend of mine works at Eckhart Rv in Lake Havasu. They specialize in diesel performance. Anyways, he has a 00' f350 with a power stroke diesel motor, 6 speed transmission, and all the performance parts available. He is running around 27 psi. We raced one time and I thought he wasn't going to stand a chance. He launched that truck so f@*king hard I couldn't believe it. He was at least two car lengths ahead of me before I even started moving. Don't laugh. He stuck it in 4wd to launch like that. Didn't even break the tires loose. He spanked me for about 3/4 of the track. Don't be fooled by the diesels. The are torque monsters.

wow, cadilac tried that thing where it turns off cylinders when you dont need the power back in the 80's, I can't believe they would try it again after they caught so much ---- for it the last time... That was one of the biggest lemmons of all time, They say like V-4-6-8 on the back or something. They are right up there with the pinto, chevette, yugo, I could go on but it might start a flame war...
About the diesels, my friend has an S2000 with a 75 shot on it... He said the last thing that owned him on the highway was a diesel excursion 2wd. He said it had propane injection which is said to be like nitrous to a deisel

Bully Dog makes a propane injection kit for diesels. It is the same thing as nos in a gas motor. They can handle something like 250 shots of propane. My buddy is getting in to that. He wants to race me again after he gets it hooked up. I might have to pass up the embarasment of getting smoked by a 8500 pound diesel!

Yeah, it's hard to have a lack of traction with that much weight and turning all four. But whatever, he had the advantage of powerbraking his way to some kind of boost just before the light changed.

buddy of mine had a dodge turbo diesel pushing 30+ psi due to a full banks power set-up. the only problem he had was holding his trannies together. he went thru 3 or 4 of them in a short time and decided to trade it in.

Theres a dodge diesel with a cummins 6cyl in my town just like that. Hes running a huge turbo off like a semi with the wastegate welded shut, NO WASTEGATE! It pushes about 45psi into a stock block and makes like 450hp and about 1100lb of tourque if i remember correctly. It runs low 13's and weighs 6500lbs.
