I've seen A 24-valve Cummins B-Motor run a 12.9 on nitrous at misson, B.C. but I wasn't ready for what happened last night. I was taking off at a stoplight kinda hard cuz I needed to get over one lane past a relatively stock-looking dodge truck. When I heard the bass deepen and the turbo spool up on that thing, I nailed it. Well, I guess the Dyno-Mite Diesel Performance in huge letters on the box should have told me he had some torque. I could catch him eventually, but that SOB could accelerate hard! Anyone else ever see a quick diesel?

 

I saw a new beetle TDI, turbo diesel, the guy said he was running 13's, and it looked pretty quick.

 

BD perfomance prolly did his ----. they crank out some pretty badass diesel trucks in abbotsford..

Volkswagon turbo deisel beetles suck ***. That guy must have doubled the boost to make it seem at all decent. They run a very low 19 stock.

 

That's what I thought too, but it did look pretty quick.
His redline was 4000rpm.

 

but torque on a turbo diesel is twice as much as what we make on our motors..so Yes they will pull on us hard, unless you have a big turbo then youll be fine isnt that right Jeff!

Thats only what about 4 times the torque of a civic

 

Have you heard of a beetle RSI? It's got a V6 Twin Turbo Motor (not joking). It also has AWD, and it has extreme potential.
