Hell I've had tickets in VA and my insurance company hasn't picked up on them and it's been 2+ years. If you go to court the judge will have mercy on you if you say you're falsely accused considering you drove from another state to see him. That is unless he has sand in his vagina. edit: I looked the points thing up.. I think it depends on if your two states share information. Some do, some don't. |

I know for a fact WI talks with other states' DMV departments and if your license is suspended anywhere else they will know.

Now I don't know which states communicate with which states, but they do communicate. How do I know? I had a ticket in Georgia in 2005. Never showed up because it was a long drive. Fast-forward to 2007. On the third time reinstating my license that year, they wouldn't let me because I had an outstanding ticket in Georgia. Why they let me reinstate my license a total of 3 times since the missed court date in Georgia I'm not sure. As far as insurance and points, I really don't know. Last year I accumulated over 24 traffic citations before losing count. Multiple tickets for speeding, no seatbelt, running a stop sign, switched tags, expired tags, revoked tags, driving while suspended, no insurance, etc. Somehow I never earned enough points to have my license taken. Somehow insurance only is aware of 6 citations. |

Re: Got a fucking ticket in Wisconsin
Jeeze I thought this was common knowlage. If you pay the ticket in time the state you offended in won't send the information to your state. If you pay the ticket within 30 days it won't go on your record.
