does anyone know if its common for the bumper brackets on the rear to rust out?

tommorow im gonna tear into it and see how bad the body really is, the rear bumper seems to be afloat so i need to figure out why, if the unibody is rusted out then ill probably just be parting it out

if it isnt bad ill fix the body then just run it for a while, eventually i would either do a swap or go turbo on it, not really sure just need to determine if it is worth fixing

its a 91 Si and it runs GREAT

as you can see aside from the seats the interior is very good for a 1991

Yes, the rear bumper supports are always rusted out.

have the same car yes the bumper rusts like a bitch. also the gas cap area and wheel wells rust like a bitch. good luck whats the motor look like?

motor looks decent

has receipts for the timing belt not too long ago and the head was milled

it runs really good
