liek the topic says i got bored this past weekend and decided to finish painting my valve cover that i had started a few weeks ago. i started by shaving the DOHC VTEC off and then took the 10mm bolt holes off the front of it for a cleaner look.

not long at all after i had it stripped. primered it with two coats and let it dry about 15 minutes between each, then two coats of black and let it dry a few hours then masked it off then took a razor too it, then sprayed it with white and waited for it to dry then unmasked it.

It's just a picture. He put blue tape over the VC first, then cut out an outline of the picture with a razor blade/exacto knife. Simple as that. Looks really good.

i know what it is, i called that the stencil.

i just wanted to know how long it took to do the "cutout" alone.

---- woulda pissed me off cus I dont have much patience to do small things like that.

the cut out alone was about 45 minutes tops. i had actually had somebody make me a vinyl decal at first but it stuck too well and when peeling it up it took some of the paint off with it, that's why i had to redo it. trying to think of an idea for this Z6 valve cover i have sitting here. was thinking about doing a budlight can ;D.

i agree it was a horrible movie but it's still a classic. i like the movie more for the point and about coming from nothign and building an empire and doign nose dives in a huge pile of coke.

U my friend, have some true ingenuity and style...I know Scarface is FAAAR from original, NOW, but that is still different...Scarface has been one of my favorite movies since I was 17(I'm 27 now), which was back b4 it was such a big fad..No he didn't build anything, but he was still a bad a$$ dude who didn't give a $hit and let it show....

I don't know who the ---- that is, or why you would want it on there, but it came out so good I must give you credit. I saw the tape and I'm thinking "oh no, here we go", but it came out real good.

the turbo is missing because it is a high compression gsr ;). i want to build another boosted car, maybe i'll swap out theses pistons and cams for some boost worthy ones.
