got beat for money by a "friend"

Alright this past week has sucked balls....begining of the week blew $1800 because i decided to back into a ladys car car and pretty much take the door off....and now tonight i met up with a friend to get something for another kid and make some dough off of it...now this kid i met i worked with for the past 7 months and have done a lot of ---- for him and he has done likewise. So i pick him up in bk (at his friends house)and drive him to his boys house and i'm noticing he looks a little fucked up and i asked and he said it was Vicodins, and i hate dealing with ripped people but i'v known this kid for a while and we have built a relationship so i say whatever..I hand him the dough he goes inside an appartment complex and say he'll be out in 15...yada yada yadaaa 1 hour goes by and after calling his phone a bunch of times i realized that he beat me for 900. All in all i'm a little pissed off because instead of making 300 i lost 900. I'm probably going to get it back eventually because his cousin still works at my office and i'm also thinking that he might of passed out in this kids appartment because i don't think he would do this to me. I have handed him money plenty of times and never had a problem so i don't understand. Well whatever i just wanted to get that off my chest and see what you guys have to say about it. I guess you really can't trust anyone when it comes to money.

"money is the root of all evil" :-\ he was fucked up maybe his judgement was bad at that time. If he does take off with it then thats deffinetly the time to ---- some ---- up.

Money doesn't make people evil, it tests their integrity. You either have it or you don't. :-\

tekno9998 06-12-2004 02:40 AM

Re:got beat for money by a "friend"

And with some people youd never know there lack of integrity until money was involved :-\

What the hell? What's the moral of this story? Were you making a drug deal? Come on man, whenever I'm making a deal for over $100 you know I be strapped.

----, I'd go in there blazing up a storm of bullets, saying "which one of you motha fuckaz gots my ends!"

and be shootin ---- up.. fo' realz yo

Look at it as an investment. Go buy a gun for about 300. Next go to his house waving that ---- and shooting in the air until you get your money. Lost 300 buying a gun and gain your 900 back. All in all you break out even seeing how you were supposed to gain 300 out of the deal. Good luck and dont say I told you to do it (but you should)! ;)

hey if your dealing with drug dealers just shoot them in their heads take all their drugs and money. and leave a little in his pockets. no one will care that a drug dealer got killed. my boy deals with a guy(drug dealer) that has 10g's on him at a time. i was like i would definately murder a worthless ---- for 10g's but i think my boy wouldnt be able to keep his mouth shut

Re:got beat for money by a "friend"

thats not my style though...everyone i work with likes me because i make them money...i asked "my boy" before he went in if he was making anything off of it and he said yes(obviously he made the whole 900) but if he said no i would of tossed him 100. but thats just how i am i like to build relationships with people and build a little trust type thing so later i have no worries...but now this- if kid doesn't call me back i'm willing to pay 900 to get 900 and make my ------- point....everyone wants to be a ------- cowboy i don't get it

Dont loan your friends or people you know money, its my personal policy but i dont feel like just giving people my hard earned cash and then have to sue them to get it back... forget that. Drugs turn the best people in to low life scum, its a fact.

If it involved $900, then why werent you personally able to go inside and and bypass the "middleman"? I understand not being bothered for less than that, but for large sums of "transactions" Ive never had a problem with the investor coming in and at least saying hi. (Back when I did that type of thing)

Give the guy a shakedown, and slap him at the least for passing out with someone else's money if that is in fact what happened.

no i don't really get it? what i meant is that instead of him making consitent money off me he just took the lump sum payment and now he's going to need to watch his back

Re:got beat for money by a "friend"

I am a cowboy = I wear cowboy boots, carry a revolver, hog tie calves.. the whole mess. You asked why everyone wanted to go cowboy, well I would just cause that's the way it is.

Looks like you're going to have to goto war with the dude, I might suggest going in and taking something of his as a "down payment" for your money. Good luck on getting it back.

royal mounties don't count as cowboys...

And I had a RAELLY good friend stiff me out of 200 bucks that I gave him to flip for mel little did I know he had a wicked meth problem. In the end he slowly repaid me like every 5 days with 20 bucks. It took me bring over a mutual friend/big mofo to settle things out. I told my big mofo firnd I'd pay him 50 bucks if he could get things rolling in my direction.

You got played. You obviously didn't give this enough thought, or you don't really have that much history with the guy. The only people I would hand anything over 100 bucks to are people I've known for atleast 3 years and have had time to meet some peeps/find out where he lives and ----.

#1 everyone likes money, some people will take that ----.
#2 everyone has atleast one enemy and it's your job to find out who that person is.
#3 everyone gets dirt on their hands, and it's your job to find out about it.

I don't ever flash chedder to anyone I don't know something about other than "oh, I used to work with this guy"; I bet his scumbag ass isn't working now... you got played, deal with it or get to cracking skulls.

I'm not "from" arkansas, I only live here now. I'm from florida. I think living in australia would be cool, I need to go there one day.

"money is the root of all evil" is out of context. It's "The love of Money is the root of evil"

i spoke with his cousin yesterday and he said he was sorry and he hasn't gotten a chance to talk to him yet...i'm going into work in a lil while so i'll know whats up, id rather not resort to violence and just get the dough back

Re:got beat for money by a "friend"

what does the "bills were marked" stand for in normal people terms?

quadnie 06-15-2004 05:17 PM

Re:got beat for money by a "friend"

Umm. they only mark bills if this is a ransom or some ----. What a ------- moron. Bills Marked meaning he is stalling for time. Next time you talk to him, tell him you want your money right away and make a special trip for it.

I would pistol whip him after you get your money back like a little bitch anyways. If you get a gun I will call you and tell you the proper way to "pistol whip" someone.
