Thanks for the advice regarding the cars...especially the one about falling through the floor. :-\ ;D
The plans for the engine already in there is to pull it out and that's about it. I'm sure the crank's journals have to be seriously fuxed up at this point. I still have a ZC block that is in need of one piston due to cracked ringlands. Maybe I"ll pull a good piston out of this one and drop it in the zc and see if it runs. My only problem is that I have no idea how the color coding works with honda bearings ??? I also have another spare d16a1 in my house with about 190k on it but it still runs with a slight knock. More than likely i'm going to strip my current car of everything worth value and then I'm taking a "sawsall" to it. A friend fit an 88 crx si in three garbage cans. Don't worry i'll take some pics and vids of when I do it. The hf is in really good condition for its age...mainly becuase the friend I bought it off of is ---- about his cars. THis car was featured on the crx resource a few years back :D |

Good find man, thats the model to get. Looks liek lyle's (87sivtec's) he has a b16 in his. Goes pretty well.
