So i am looking for a LSD for my hydro gsr tranny...
Rite now i am looking at the MFactory LSD's that are being released, but i was approached with this offer.
This is for a ITR LSD.
Will this fit in my gsr hydro tranny?

What would outperform? The stock type r LSD or mfactory LSD, would 500whp blow out a factory LSD?
I don't mind spending the 500 and some odd dollers to get something that will take the abuse for my power goals

I wouldn't feel very comfortable putting triple the whp through any factory lsd, even if it did come out of a B18ZC5 O0

The factory hydro lsd's are solid work horses refer to spikers holy ---- accord diff never broke. I have yet to have a factory lsd break around me but I have never dealt with huge 600+whp numbers people throw out there so maybe at 400 they dont break.

All B/D factory "acorn" LSDs fail, except the ITR LSD which are great for NA or mild turbo but fails past 350 whp.

What is this "acorn" you talk of, the design? I don't know a lot about transmissions at all mr. davis.

The "JDM GSR LSD" is also known as an "acorn" shaped LSD. They are known to fall apart in completely stock trim. It's also the same LSD in the B16A cable transmissions, and related to the DOHC ZC LSD, all known failure units.

I had a factory LSD on my civic , YS1. Made just under 300whp and it took the rape. Even reverse rape :-X
I say if you can get a cheap factory LSD go for it , I reckon they can take 320whp , easy :6

But once again , spend a few more bones and get a LSD that will last pretty much forever..

calling bullshit on that one. Friend of mine ran a factory R lsd in his boosted teggie for years, never a problem. Not to mention 200hp is what....30 more wheel hp than a stock motor? Your telling me an extra 30hp is gonna blow a factory lsd? again. bullshit.

----, I beat the ---- out of my 200hp na motor on a factory LSD for 2 years. I'm not gonna do a thing to it when I put it in my car in a few months except continue to beat the ---- out of it.

Building a mission is the next big fad, if you want my $.02. mfactory came out with this god all mighty new gear-set, made a name sold the plans, next thing you know blox, omni and everyone else who uses that same supplier is gonna have a 'bad ass new state of the art' LSD and gear set.

Im sure factory units have failed on stock motors. I have replaced transmissions on stock cars with blown diff's ---- happens.

I don't launch like a -----, have never wheel hopped at the track either.

I might have a clue about launching a car and setting up the preload (sway bar washer trick) so even on open diff one wheel peel doesn't happen.

You can make all the power you want, but if you can't hook, just sit there and spin, slower/lessor car is gonna make you look stupid.
