yeah, I was gona put one in my car, but the rad is taller, and you really have to cut and weld and ----, Just go with a dual core Chevy firefly rad, every------- junkyard is full of them.

Good write up... haha that charge pipe picture is funny. Maybe you should post this up on honda-tech? Specifically the part about removing the AEM and installing uberdata. ;D

Sucks about your motor cause I really wanted to race you. Hopefully by the time we do race my car will be bigger and better too. :)

Great write up!

What's gonna happen to the AEM comp?

Yeah, the AEM is being sold.

And yes, thats the same Del Sol from one of my burnout videos. :)

The shorty radiator isnt too bad. I elected to 'notch' the lower member to get it to sit a bit lower w/ less tilt. This included lopping off the stock lower mount. An upper mount was made.
As far as cooling goes, I logged water temp for about 6-7 full on panty-ripper runs. The car was at 198 at the start, dropped to 196 driving around and had a peak of 199 during the runs. (It should be noted that I am still running a drilled thermostat :) Nothing serious, about 4 1/4" holes)

And Dustin, Im sure an SC34 would be a perfect match for you. A bit pricey though, I only bought this because I got a JEW deal, and Ill never run out of turbo again. :)

On a 3rd gear pull from down low, I hit 5psi at 5k, and 10psi at 6k.

btw my setup is a LSVTEC now....well it will be when the car is running again... ::) soon as i get some more money together i will be watching H-T like a hawk when the time comes, so far the best is 679bucks new...

Re:Good day/Bad day <<pics>>

679 is still too much. Find a new/used one yo'
The DelSol is running a basic T3/4e w/ a .63 exh. side, and I was very suprised at how fast it spooled. Considering how cheap they can be picked up these days, It might be something to look into.

Aside from the price that I found, my decision was based on the expected appetite of my new project.
