i had the car pretty much shaved when i had it painted about 6 years ago- front corner lenses, door handles, washer nozzles. i got the hood this week. 13 pounds of carbon fiber goodness. the stock hood was 34! i'll post some more pics once i get the car out of the garage and the setup complete. i'll start a new post. hopefully it will be in the next couple weeks because i have to move and i don't want to have to tow the car.

My freind is fabbing a sqare tube bumper support right now to fit his JRC intercooler in a CRX. I can take some picts. Basically ~42" of 1.5x3/16 square tubing and then ~6" angled wings.

Nice work Aaron! so with the chopping of that peice in the front and you now using your HM traction bars is it still gonna drive the same? or will it affect the way it drives/feels on the road?

I only ask cause i have thought about chopping that piece of my car adn doing away with the OEM crossmember and in its place would be something similar what you built.

your inlighting words would hel me better undestand what i am doing.

i had to replace it with something so i had something for my intercooler to bolt to. i could have probably used the hcm to hold the ic in place, but i wanted something at the bottom of my bumper rather than just the piece of plastic. as for effecting driveability, i'm not sure. i know the wheel hop will be gone. this was just a replacement for the older style hcm i made last year. this one is a bit lighter and takes up less room. i finished my manifold today, i'll post pics of it later.
