well, i never really thought about buying one, but i just bought a house and it's about 50 miles from where i work, and i don't feel like putting 100 miles on the si a day, especially after it's built and boosted. so a buddy of mine's dad has a used dealership and there's a 90 si that's been sitting out in the grass for a while, like in the grass, i mean the back of the shop as in it's broke down. i went to school with this guy and we use to party together a lot, so i can prolly get the car for around 500 i'm thinking, i may just drop in a y8 or z6 (never had a d before) or a b18, i guess we'll see when i actually get it ;D

For some reason i love preludes. It has nothing to do with power or perfomance of it just overall. I take it back, prelude first, nsx, type r, s2000, then the (one hit wonder) sol :)

I just don't understand what you ppl have against the sol, and the order is closer to this.

New NSX (02 and up I beleive), S2000, 97-01 lude, JDM Type R, Del Sol with aux lights (92-95), 92-96 lude, older nsx, 92-95 civic hatch, 96-00 accord coupe, new accord, 96-00 civic, newer gen civic

Any other Honda either looks like ass or a cardboard box, almost all the pre 92 honda's either looked the same (accord and lude looked was to much alike) or like complete ass, LIKE A CRX. Man they are just sooooo ugly, I have no idea why ppl try to make them out to be great. I understand they are a small very light car, good for the poor mans race car, but sooooooo ugly. Would rather drive a 323 hatch then one of those, at least the JDM version was turbo all wheel drive. Bah, hate the crx....

the del Sol was a limited run as it was. honda intentionaly made it that way. in my area there is far more sols than rex's.

we jsut get sick to death hearing that, the Sol was under the windtunnel more than the rex as well. Far more hours went into its design.

Ok heres the reason us Rex guys hate the sol so much. First off it was hondas attempt to "spice" up the rex. Put a targa on it and a weird ass trunk and u have a peice of ----. Now the first crx was ugly but the second crx still had attrabutes of the old rex and it looks good. The del sol had some. Two door, two seat, and it was a honda. thats about it. It wasn't even called the crx over here. Plus not to metion the lack of performance in the body. By putting the targa on there it would never hold a good skid pad without a roll bar. Honda never did that with any of their other cars. the civic Si stayed a 2 door or a hatch from the beginning. i would like to see honda change the prelude if they still made it. How many people would like it then. Put a targa on the prelude it would really suck ass. Point made. ;D

the sol was clasified as a civic here and in 95 was its on car. it was NEVER a CRX here. only in japan.

actually, the sol was the sucessor to the CRX. so in that sense neither are a one hit wonder.

Who said they were made for the same # of years.. if you remember, they started w/ a 84 CRX! 84-91 vs 93-97.. ya back to school for you ;)

shitty! the rex i was looking at had been sitting in the same spot for almost a year, i thought about it everday, literally, i drove by it everyday, and the day after i posted this, the mother fucker was gone >:( i do got to find a daily driver though, so i'm still looking.......
