All my kids had take a form of valium (I know misspelled) for any major dental work. It sucks if your parent and you have to make sure they walking straight and not crashing into anything.
Watch them in the waiting room before any work after taking this stuff and make them sit still, Right!!!!!!
There is no way in hell you can keep a kid sitting down when on this stuff no way.
But it can amusing when they talk to you incoherantly.

I remember the last visit to the dentist for me. Had my wisdom teeth pulled out in Tijuana Mexico (didnt have dental insurance at the time.) Got a shot of something, and i still felt pain. I asked for a second shot and i still felt the pain, I asked for a 3rd and the dentist told me this was the last one i was going to get. Anymore and It would seriously ---- me up.
Needless to say i passed the ---- out. I was floating in space, it was awesome. When i woke up i was tripping hard. I felt like my face was melting off. I was scared shitless because i couldnt move my tounge let alone speek, It was at night along the revolution(tourist nightclub district), Everything was in slow motion, all i could hear was the music thumping and the lights glaring.
It made for a fun 3 hour drive home.
