Re: god damned thiefs
coincidence or no. you decide.
the night my car was broken into, i was driving down Cerillos road to outback steakhouse with my roommate. a 1990-1993 red acura integra, lowered with a stock looking yet fart can sounding exhaust tried to race me. sounded like he gutted the cat and muffler. anyways, i just drove like normal, didn't feel like a race, i was on my way to dinner. so he speeds off. i make note of the exhaust, specifically, mainly because i was laughing at it. high pitched fart can, no vtec, figured it was just a b18 with some dumb exhaust mods and let it go.
the same night i hear the same exact exhaust roll through my neighborhood but i think nothing of it.
the next night, same thing, dont think anything of it.
tonight, i hear it, i say what the ----, open up my garage and head out. i notice that the ----------er is parked right in front of my drive way. i stare at the beaner and his friend and they take the ---- off. i hop in my car, call 911 and followed his lights as far as i could. with the headstart he got i couldnt keep up with the twists and turns. i caught the license plate number which is HNU-089 new mexico plates. i park back in my driveway and about 5 minutes later a cop pulls up, i tell him whats up, he starts doing a search of the area.
well 15 minutes later i hear the ****** running up and down St. Francis and Zia back and forth for about 20 minutes. same high pitch fart can exhaust, same pitch once he hits 4k rpms and runs up to 7 before he shifts each time, same grumble when he drops down below 3k. we all know a specific car when we hear one and it was this ----------er. he finally stops running back and forth and i haven't heard anything in 30 minutes.
coincidence, no ------- way. i have my 12" hunting knife, 10" maglight and 32" baseball bat next to me, next time i hear the ****** i'm charging. this is why i'm buying my handgun. i'm still waiting on the background check, that ****** is lucky tonight wasn't his last.

Re: god damned thiefs
The guy that stole your stereo needs to be taught a lesson for sure, but you need to consider the chance that might not be the guy who did it. Granted, it's suspicious activity (down right stupid on his part), but you should ask yourself if your stereo is worth getting charged for some bullshit... I had my whole car stolen with over 3 grande worth of parts in that I got completely fucked over with, so I know how you feel.
I hope they find the guy, but I also hope you don't do something stupid that will land you in jail instead of him.

Re: god damned thiefs
its still harrassment to follow me to my home, drive around my neighborhood and be parked in front of my driveway. all i gotta say is that they were out of their car and threatening me, a few rocks threw the windows will fix that ---- up good. let them come after me then when i got my ---- ready to roll.

Re: god damned thiefs
Sucks for you.
Fortunately theft isn't a big issue in the southeast (at least not Alabama and Georgia).
If you live in the wrong area, you can probably guess where I'm referring to, crackheads will probably steal crap. But even then, they'd only steal stuff like stereos. If you had turbo/jdm/rims/etc on your car you wouldn't have to worry too much.
Either way, I'm going to put a nice stereo system on my car.
