european nations are impotent, and are not capable of doing anything including protecting themselves.
i love your assumptions, US wouldn't have to worry, europe would take care of everything, UN & NATO would do anything but waste money and try and make the world one nation.

The bottom line is that Iran, Iraq, or any other country in the middle east (especially the ones with no military) don't have a ***** chance of launching anything at us that will come close to this country. They can give the bombs to whatever terrorists they want to, but the only way they're gonna hit this country with them, is when the federal government lets them in our open back door. THAT'S THE ONLY WAY. The real "war on terror" should mean closing our borders, and kicking people out. Terrorist attacks only happen from within, not from 3rd world countries half a world away.
Please note that when Orielly is trying to bait Ron Paul into saying he's not afraid of Iran. What's to be afraid of? lol.

i watched the interview when it was on tv.
he won't asnwer the question, and tries to go into a history lesson about its all our fault, and never answered the question, he can only be on the show for a few minutes, not long enough to give a speech about history
as far as the other points, i agree. but i think the main thing about iran is not them attacking us, its the stability of the region.

The reason the middle east is a cluster ---- is primarily England, France and the united states fault. We've been pounding their governments ******** for a solid 130 years. Before then there wasn't really any trouble in the middle east, ---- they didn't even care about nationalism in the Ottoman empire until near the end of WW1, when Brittan's colonizing was in full effect. There's really an extensive history on the area if you look into it, when you know it everything makes sense, but they have oil so we're going to try to keep policing and colonizing the area. We just can't call it that because it's no t PC.
